many saas startups believe an erp is something only giant corporations need. they stitch together a handful of best-in-breed saas tools and call it a day. this works, until it doesn’t. as the company scaled, the founders found themselves drowning in disconnected data and manual processes.
The Single Source of Truth
our solution was not to replace their beloved tools, but to unite them. we built a custom application using firebase and react that used apis to pull data from stripe, zendesk, and mixpanel. this data was centralized into a single data model. now, when a user upgraded their plan in stripe, the change was instantly reflected in the erp, and a notification could be sent to slack. when a user submitted a support ticket, the sales team could see that user's entire history without leaving their dashboard. this created a single source of truth and eliminated hours of manual work every week.
we thought an erp was overkill for us, but invadecode showed us how a lightweight, modern erp could be a growth multiplier. we finally have a unified view of our business.
a modern erp for a saas business isn't about replacing tools like stripe or zendesk; it's about creating an intelligence layer that connects them. by building this central nervous system, we helped our client break through their growth ceiling and build a more scalable, data-driven operation.
